Michael D. Lingerfelt Inducted into Cambridge Who's Who for Excellence in Architecture

McGillivray Consulting Group is a firm that provides client representation, and project and cost management services on capital construction projects for both the private and public sectors. A 28-year veteran of the industry, Mr. Lingerfelt specializes in managing consultants and projects, working with multi-discipline design teams, dealing with entitlements, environmental issues and zoning issues, utilizing leadership skills, developing design concepts, and overseeing the construction projects for theme parks, restaurants, and merchandise, healthcare and hospitality facilities. Prior to taking on his current position, Mr. Lingerfelt lent his talents to such high-profile firms as Walt Disney Imagineering and the Marriott Corporation. He attributes his success to his fascination with architecture and his ability to think outside the box.
Mr. Lingerfelt received his Master's Certificate in Virtual Design and Construction from Stanford University's Center for Integrated Facility Engineering and his Bachelor's Degree in Architecture from the University of Texas at Austin. He is a Licensed Architect in the States of Florida, California and Texas, a National Council of Architectural Registration Boards Certificate Holder, and a LEED-Accredited Professional through the United States Green Building Council. Awards and recognitions of which he is a recipient include a THEA Award from the Themed Entertainment Association for Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park, Mission: SPACE and Expedition Everest, the Association of Building Contractors Eagle Award for Entertainment Facilities, several Eagle Awards for Subcontractors Concrete, Exterior Finishes, Structural and Miscellaneous Metals, and Awards of Merit for Subcontractors Electrical, Fire Protection and Interior Finishes. Mr. Lingerfelt aspires to work on theme park projects all over the world.
