American rock act Alesana are to play at Kuala Lumpur's Dragonfly club on September 18th 2011.

KUALA LUMPUR, MALAYSIA, August 18, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Distinctive US rockers Alesana are to treat Kuala Lumpur to their unique brand of post-hardcore energy next month as part of their worldwide tour.
 
The six-piece act from Raleigh, North Carolina are set to play at the Dragonfly club in the Malaysian capital on September 18th, following concerts in Singapore and Jakarta on the previous two nights.
 
Originally formed in 2004, Alesana are known for combining aggressive, powerful guitar riffs with dual melodic/snarling vocals, all interwoven with accomplished songwriting.
 
They rose to prominence with the launch of their debut full-length album On Frail Wings of Vanity and Wax in 2007, followed by Where Myth Fades to Legend in 2008 and The Emptiness in 2009.
 
Now with Epitaph Records, the band will be releasing a fourth album in October, A Place Where The Sun Is Silent, from which they have performed several new tracks during previous live shows.
 
The Dragonfly venue is located on Jalan Kia Peng, which is situated not far from the Kuala Lumpur City Centre Park.
