A diverse selection of Asian and international films will be screened during the Hua Hin International Film Festival 2012 in Thailand this January.

HUA HIN, THAILAND, January 05, 2012 /24-7PressRelease/ -- The National Federation of Thai Film Associations is to organise the Hua Hin International Film Festival 2012 from January 26th to 29th.
 
Over the course of the four days, more than 50 films are set to be screened from around the world, including Fernando Meirelles' newest Hollywood project 360, as well as the Malaysian hit KL Gangster, the award-winning Filipino movie Ways of the Sea and the lavish Taiwanese production Warriors of the Rainbow.
 
Korean movie Always will be the opening film, with its stars So Ji Sub and Han Hyu Joo set to be among the many confirmed guests.
 
Running alongside the films themselves will be a series of supporting events, including industry seminars, an exhibition of photos taken by King Bhumibol Adulyadej and a celebratory festival in Centennial Park.
 
Mr Suwat Liptapanlop, the festival chairman, said: "The Hua Hin International Film Festival will help to put Association of Southeast Asian Nations cinema on the world stage and to present the many attractions of Thailand."
 
Visitors do not need to be registered to attend any of the films other than the opening and closing screenings.
